Olds Heat Riser Plug Kit

If using Olds 455 Equa-Flow manifold for heavy duty application (such as motorhome or boat) where the engine will be subjected to lengthy high loads, it is advised to install these heat riser plugs.

If using the manifold in a lighter vehicle (such as a passenger car) for high performance, it is also recommended to use these plugs to protect the metal aginst excessive heat.

To install plugs, simply place them in the heat riser opening on each side of the manifold and tack weld each plug in place at its top and bottom. Heliarc Weld Only.
